Artrium, Street Art Musuem
project role. Team Lead Designer
Counterpoint to the classic museum, this is museum built for street urban art – such as graffiti, street performances and music – as well as behind stories of these art.
Mimicking ‘the street’ where urban art originated and organic combination of interior and exterior space blurs distinction between the two. The design is based off for Atwater Street, across from Tricentennial State Park, Detroit, MI.
The most uniqueness of the museum is with Augmented Reality. Each visitors and artists are equipped with AR goggle and interactive joystick. As they walk about the space, they can enjoy physical and augmented visuals to experience and interact with art and artists working on pieces.
